Graham Curren Judges EW's Coveted Award for Young Engineers
Sondrel Supports Electronics Weekly Brightsparks Design Awards 2019Nominations are now being accepted for the coveted Brightspark Design Awards 2019 which celebrate young engineering talent in the UK. Now in its third year, the award highlights engineers under the age of 30 who have shown exceptional talent, dedication and skill early in their careers.
For a second year running, Sondrel’s CEO and founder Graham Curren, has been asked to join the judging panel for the awards alongside other seasoned experts chosen for their keen eye for excellence in the field of electronic engineering. Having grown the Sondrel design consultancy over the last 16 years to what is, today, the world’s largest independent IC design team of highly skilled engineers, Graham is widely respected for his ability to identify and nurture talent.
A proportion of Sondrel’s technical teams at each of its global locations consists of young engineers who have evidenced both talent and application in the early years of their career following graduation. All engineers at Sondrel are strongly encouraged to develop their skills, demonstrate their competencies and progress their careers within the company. Director of Business Operations, Hilary Rico is very clear about the company’s commitment to developing and rewarding engineering talent, she commented, “We offer clearly defined career paths for engineers as well as opportunities to branch out into project management or work in different locations.
